These fees apply to the care management and delivery of services you book through HomeMade

10% care management fee
  • A care management fee applies. This is a government mandated allocation which is set aside from your funding and is given to your provider to cover care management.
8% service loading fee

  • This fee is only applied to services you have received. For example, if a service costs $100, you will have an 8% service loading fee of $8 taken from your funding. It covers admin and costs associated with managing service providers and support workers.

The Mable hourly rate represents the average weekday hourly agreed rates for 2000 HCP clients using the Mable Platform for services delivered between 1st March and 25th September 2025. This rate includes Mable’s Client Platform fee of 7.95%. The HomeMade service loading fee for self-management (currently an 8% promotional offer) has been added. The typical fully managed hourly rates are taken from the upper range of the National Median Prices collected in the survey of over 300 HCP providers of indicative price ranges under Support at Home published in October 2025.

  • Initial care plan: We will work with you on a video call to create a personalised care plan that fits your needs and budget.
  • Ongoing care plan: We stay in touch with phone and video calls to understand your changing needs, and update your support plan and budget when needed.
Connecting with our expert team
  • Important updates: Our team keeps you posted on important updates like home care funding and government changes, so you don’t have to figure things out alone. 
  • Clinical nurses: Book a call with our clinical nurses for clinical reviews and recommendations.
Finding and coordinating support
  • Service provider network: Choose your ideal service provider from a large network of verified local providers. Browse by category to find exactly what you need.
  • Choice and control of schedule: Choose the days and times your support workers provide help. And create a schedule that works around your life. 
  • Bring your support provider: Don't leave your trusted support providers behind. Bring your existing team with you for continuity of care. (Existing service or support providers must join HomeMade or Mable, which is part of the same group as HomeMade, and meet the relevant eligibility criteria.)
  • Meal service: Find the right meal service for your needs with referrals that match your budget. 
  • Transport assistance: Get your Cabcharge card delivered straight to your door for effortless travel.
Safety
  • Moderation: Catch issues early. Our support notes and clinical nursing team monitor changes to your health and wellbeing and take action when needed‡. 
Budgeting
  • Reimbursements: We’ll reimburse you within 5 business days when you pay for approved supports yourself/approved consumables yourself.
  • Account management: Stay in control of your funding with budget tracking online.
  • Budget and care plan management: Have full control over using your budget and making care decisions.

If you want the best-value home care but don’t want to manage everything yourself, Fully Managed could be the answer.

With our Fully Managed option, you still enjoy choice and control, with the reassurance of our expert team managing everything for you. We set up your care plan and find your providers, and you can have your say on who provides your support.

When you need it, we’re here to organise appointments with occupational therapists, find allied health professionals, and arrange your annual review.

It’s the freedom to do things your way, with our team supporting you at every step.
