When you book through Mable, you can feel confident knowing that it is a requirement for support workers who offer personal care support to have one of the following qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care Certificate III or IV in Disability Certificate III or IV in Individual Support Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care Nursing degree or diploma obtained in Australia

How often can I schedule personal care assistance?

The frequency of personal care assistance will depend on your personal needs and funding level. Support can range from basic assistance to comprehensive 24-hour care. When you complete your assessment, your needs will be reviewed, and you will be assigned a package that should reflect the approximate hours of support you might need.

Can I choose who provides my personal care?

When you self-manage your in-home aged care funding with HomeMade, you have choice and control over your personal care support. This means you can find support workers who suit your needs, schedule and personal preferences.

How do I access personal care support with HomeMade through my Support at Home funding?

In order to access personal care support through Support at Home funding, you will need to complete an aged care assessment that establishes your needs. If assessed as eligible, you can sign up to HomeMade and, if approved, start self-managing your funding.
