Frequently asked questions

You may be eligible if you:

  • are a new HomeMade customer, or a returning customer who left HomeMade before 1 July 2026
  • join HomeMade as a Self Managed customer
  • have been assessed by Services Australia as a full pensioner
  • complete your HomeMade onboarding and start between 1 July and 1 October 2026.

To receive the offer, you’ll need to have completed your means assessment with Services Australia before you start receiving services with HomeMade. We use the information provided by Services Australia to confirm your eligibility and automatically apply the offer to your account.

If you haven’t completed your means assessment yet, you can do this through myGov or by contacting the Services Australia Aged Care line on 1800 227 475.

Your monthly statement will show:

  • the contribution amount for your eligible ongoing Support at Home services, as determined by Services Australia
  • that HomeMade has covered that contribution during your 12-month offer period.

This means your eligible ongoing services will show a $0 contribution payable while the offer applies.

We’ll confirm your eligibility by email, and your monthly statements will show the HomeMade credit applied to your eligible ongoing Support at Home services.

If Services Australia determines that you don’t meet the eligibility requirements (for example, you’re assessed as a part pensioner rather than a full pensioner), the offer won’t apply.

If contributions should have been paid from your HomeMade start date, we may need to charge those amounts retrospectively. If this happens, we’ll contact you in writing and give you the opportunity to discuss the outcome.

HomeMade must use the pension information provided by Services Australia.

If you believe your assessment is incorrect, you’ll need to contact Services Australia to request a review.
